All guests are invited to join us in our sunlit breakfast room for a full breakfast buffet that includes hot entrees, homemade pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, and coffee.
From the Kitchen of Grant Street Inn:
Fruit & Nut Granola
4 c oatmeal (old-fashioned)
1 1/2 c cashews
1 1/2 c sliced almonds
1 c walnuts (or any kind of nuts)
1 c coconut
1 c honey
1/2 c maple syrup
1 T vegetable oil
1 1/2 c raisins
2 c dried bananas
1 1/2 c dried apricots
(other dried fruits such as cherries, dates, etc. may be substituted for bananas and apricots)
Mix oatmeal, nuts, and coconut in large bowl. Heat honey, syrup, and oil in saucepan. Pour over oatmeal mixture. Mix to combine.
Bake on a baking sheet at 325 degrees, turning every 10 minutes, for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven to let cool. Add raisins and dried fruit. Store in an airtight container.
Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am on weekdays and from 8am to 11am on weekends.
